Building on her expertise in global sales, marketing, and business development, Dr. Garpestad works creatively with clients to meet their needs in the areas of executive coaching, senior team development, succession planning, and talent management.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry, Dr. Garpestad was a sales and marketing executive in high tech manufacturing. Her earlier industry experiences include financial services, promotion services, and business information services for various organizations, including Fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Garpestad is an accomplished speaker, teacher, and writer. She is an adjunct instructor of International Management and Leadership at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a fellow with the Hendrickson Institute for Ethical Leadership. She also is an active volunteer in the community serving as a Minnetonka Police Reserve Officer.
Dr. Garpestad received her Ed.D. in leadership and her bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and computer science from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She holds a master of business administration degree from the University of St. Thomas.
